About
Us
The Brookline High School Alumni Association was founded in 1990. With the support of a core group of active alumni, the Association is an independent tax-exempt corporation of volunteers (This means we do not receive any financial support from the school or the Town of Brookline!)
We are proud of our accomplishments!
-
Assist reunion classes in planning events, both in-person and virtual
-
Plan and oversee an annual golf tournament to raise funds for scholarships to deserving BHS students (a successful event for more than 30 years!)
-
Oversee a massive database of graduates and reach out to alumni for updated contact information
-
Design and sell BHS Alumni merchandise and memorabilia
-
Produce a twice-yearly newsletter, jam-packed with info about the high school and its graduates
In addition, we have published a history of the high school written by former headmaster Dr. Bertram H. Holland, provided representatives to serve on high school committees, provided financial support for the annual After the Prom party for seniors, hosted numerous special events including Teacher Appreciation Breakfast, concerts, panel discussions and more to bring together faculty, students, alumni and members of the community. Most importantly, we continue to be an invaluable resource for reunion classes, providing everything from names and addresses of graduates to suggestions for reunion locations and financial advice.
